#CreateYourTrends: StyledByWussy's Digital Breakthrough
The Strategic Campaigning for Affordable Housing in Stratford is a lead generation and event marketing project I worked on with the Stratford Affordable Housing Alliances (SAHA).
Who and Where They Are
StyledByWussy, an innovative Fashion and Wardrobe Curator brand, is poised to make a significant impact in the fashion industry. With a distinctive focus on individuals and creators who struggle to find clothing that truly aligns with their personalities, StyledByWussy recognizes a unique market opportunity. However, the challenge lies in effectively reaching and engaging with this specific audience.
In pursuit of a strategic approach to penetrate the fashion scene, StyledByWussy sought the expertise of a Digital Marketing Strategist with a profound background in Brand Strategy. Entrusted with the responsibility, I undertook a 12-month contract to guide them on this transformative journey, ensuring a powerful market entry that aligns seamlessly with their vision, values, and budgetary considerations.
The Process
This journey to help them establish a presence and position in the digital space needs to be done meticulously, starting with a complete brand identity for them. To achieve this, I recruited one of the best creative designers I know to join me on this project. Together, we worked to develop a brand identity and document that appeals to their audience.
Moving forward to the social media strategy, we needed to find a way to incorporate influencer marketing into our strategy. Thus, we devised a launch video campaign called #CreateYourTrends, featuring micro-influencers from different school communities within the fashion industry. Selecting influencers from different school communities, we aimed to create a sense of belonging and foster the brand relationship with these communities. This campaign aimed to position StyledByWussy as a creative wardrobe curator who believes fashion is all about confidence and what an individual considers to be fashion for them. We collaborated with Jonadzy Visuals, a creative cinematographer to bring this idea into reality.

For the last few months after the official launch, it’s all about managing the social media pages to create more visibility for the brand and acquire customers. Activities carried out include the creation of a content calendar, leveraging paid ads on Instagram and Facebook platforms, and forming partnerships with several upcoming artists to style them for their musical shoots. All these strategies positioned us for great success throughout the contract duration.
THE Results
- Averaged 3 new clients acquired every month after the launch, with the majority of them coming through referrals and paid ads.
- 10 students reached out to be styled for their graduation ceremony.
- Over $1,500 in revenue was generated during this period after the official launch.
- Over 5 thousand followers gained across their social media platforms during this period.
- Over 400 thousand impressions were generated for their social media platforms during this period.
